Getting Your Scuba Diving Certifications
There are two steps to any Scuba Diving Certification – learning the fundamentals via coursework and then applying what you’ve learned in the open water. We want you to spend as much of your time on St Croix as possible in the water! So, we’re partnered with PADI eLearning which allows you to take the first part of your certification course online at your own pace from anywhere in the world. After you’ve completed PADI eLearning, you’ll book your Course Completion with Cane Bay Dive Shop and hit the water with one of our PADI-certified instructors.
Step 1 – elearning

- eLearning coursework consists of lectures, videos, knowledge reviews & tests.
- Complete the online portion at your own pace.
- You will pay PADI directly for the eLearning portion of your certification course.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (EFR) Courses
Discover simple-to-follow steps for emergency care. This course focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.

EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER
Immediately recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen and be prepared to offer aid. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions. This course is open to everyone.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR
Teach skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines and learn how to present course content while encouraging student self-discovery.
